Red Tudor Gown

This dress was my third attempt at Tudor-era dress-making. It is made of a lightweight wool, so even during the warmest days of summer, I was able to wear it comfortably, due to the breathability of natural fiber.

I spent nearly every weekend in the summer of 2002 at SCA events, in full garb. This dress was definitely my favorite.

These photos were taken at the Twenty-Ten Founding Revel. This is the gown I wore around town and also when I did the demo for the Cub Scouts. It is made of wool, so even during the warmest days of summer, I was able to wear it comfortably, due to the breathability of natural fiber.
